No one can drive. Yup, I said it. No one can drive. You can tell all about your prefect driving record or how many tickets you have had in the past few years, but that still doesn’t mean you can drive. All that says to me is the fact that you haven’t gotten caught or you got luck on your side.
So I got some tips for those who drives. If you got someone riding the rear end of your car, do not do break checks. Yes, that is right. Don’t do it. People reaction times is on average 215 milliseconds, but it does vary. Not only is the reaction time 215milliseconds, but you need to take into account the vechile they are driving and the speed limit on the road. Cars cannot stop instantly unless if you were to hit something sturdy and stationary like a thick tree.
Another thing, you are not riding another cars bumper is three seconds, and I’m not taking about one-two-three. It’s more like one…… two…… three. In three seconds going 25 miles, 37 ft/s, the three second rule will put you about 111 ft behind the other car. And if you don’t feel safe or feeling too close you can count to six seconds, which equals 222 ft behind the other car.
And one more tip for the lovely day, no matter how much the person behind you is pissing you off, do not leave your vechile when you have some to a stop. You are creating an accident waiting to happen when you depart in the middle of traffic and putting yourself in danger. It is best to ignore the dumb drivers behind you and go on with your day. If they get into an accident, it is their own fault. No need to risk your life to lecture people on their driving skills, just focus on your own.
Thanks for listening to my lovely post.
I have come to a conclusion….
